Instead of a straight-forward slide presentation, Steve Cimorelli will be conducting fun, hands-on exercises with you as the participants. Attendees will enjoy a learning experience and understand how best to define Kanbans for a variety of different types of parts. No previous knowledge of Kanbans is required.

The CSUN Student Chapter will be holding its general meeting with a guest speaker on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Current officers are:

The California State University, Northridge APICS student chapter encourages and provides the means for the development of professional skills in students. The objective is to provide a different and unique choice in careers to all students with a chance to learn about quality, operations, and supply chain management in all its applications in our changing world. In order to do this, the student chapter hosts various events such as career workshops, panel discussion, evening with companies, professional guest speakers, student/faculty mixer and industry tours, supported by APICS, ASQ, SOM Department, and David Nazarian College of Business and Economics. CPIM Basics of Supply Chain Management course at Professional Development Center refromatted
The CPIM BSCM course was reformatted to include additional hours to focus on review questions and national exam preparation. The new format provided participants with tips on how to take the exams and group review of typical questions that may be asked on the exam. Emphasis was on variations of questions to help identify most likely and least likely answers, key words to help distinguish the best answer and overall exam taking aids.
