Failure Without Fear

 Presented by, Yoshio Muki

ASCM-SFV Chapter welcomes you to our February Professional Development Meeting - done virtually!

As a leader of an organization, you are tasked with bringing out the best from your people to develop new and innovative products and services for your Customers.

Your organization's long-term success is directly tied to the innovation that drives breakthroughs in products and services.

In some cases, organizations and leaders fear any form of failure, especially in small things, things that are easy to measure, while overlooking if progress has been made to achieve breakthrough goals, this often leads to stagnation.

Breakthroughs aren't automatic, they are result of persistence and many failures.  But if the corporate culture punishes failures, missed deadlines, blown budgets, how can breakthroughs occur?

What are the elements of a culture that is free of fear of failing?

"Fail Fast" as a principle shows up in many organizations, but is it lip-service (buzzword bingo), or is it a true cultural paradigm that drives the organization forward?

As a leader, a team member, or an individual contributor, how do you foster a culture of failure without fear?  What are the elements of leadership, teamwork and engagement that drive out fear?

In this ASCM Professional Development Meeting, Yoshio Muki will discuss how failure without fear, trust based management will help foster a culture of innovation and professional fulfillment.
