Expanding Digital Skills with Excel 2019 Intermediate/Advanced Class

10 Tuesdays, September 15 to November 17, 5-9 pm - led by APICS Master CPIM Instructor Jose Feliciano, CSCP CPIM MBA PE

Who uses Excel?  Everyone.  The majority of users have learned Excel on their own and may be missing out on tips, tricks and techniques that could expand their skills to the next level and speed up developing complex excel workbooks.  With face-to-face sessions on hold and robust virtual platforms now available, conducting online computer classes where employees can attend from their workplace desks or from the comfort of their own homes is the way to go.

APICS-SFV is offering a course that is MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certified distinguishing the courseware as a trusted and critical part of preparing for a certification exam.  Earning a Microsoft certification demonstrates the ability to command the full features and functionality of Excel, preparing them for future academic or workforce opportunities.

The Excel 2019 Intermediate/Advanced class includes online practice exercises, self-assessment chapter tests and chapter group tests to reinforce understanding of material. The tests are made up of True/False, Multiple Choice, Sequence, Matching and Simulation questions.  Taking a test is simple and focuses on your mastery of the material.  Click on https://www.labyrinthelab.com/uploadfile/webinars/Taking_a_Test_webinar.php for a preview.  Intermediate topics include themes, cell styles, and number formats and advanced and conditional formatting, date calculations and conditional functions using IF criteria and quick analysis tools. Advanced topics include effective use of tables, financial functions, data and file consolidation, what-if analyses, macros, PivotTables and PivotCharts, workbook protection, collaboration, and much more.

Participants need to have Excel 2013, 2016 or 2019 on their Windows devices.  The cost of the course will include an eBook consisting of 15 chapters and access (for 2 years) to various on line assignments and assessment tests.  The course will cover 10 intermediate/advanced chapters. Loose-leaf textbook (hard copy) may be ordered (optional) by students directly from Labyrinth Learning for an additional $60 plus applicable tax and shipping.
