This guided tour will begin with an introduction by members of the port of Los Angeles and the team that has worked on the GE Port Optimizer™, they will lead the overview of the program and will answer questions from the audience.
We will explore one of the terminals on foot and have a look at the everyday operations of the port.
We will also tour the port by boat, looking at the massive scale of the incoming shipments as they come to dock.  This will tie in with the implementation of the Port Optimizer™ and looking forward at the future and viability of the port.
