SFV Principles of Inventory and Distribution
 February 27, 2019 Wednesdays 5:30-9:30 10 weeks ending May 1, 2019

This course provides participants with an operational knowledge and understanding of inventory and distribution management principles and techniques, replenishment policies, conducting physical inventories and cycle counts as well as inventory performance measurement.
Basic method of planning and controlling inventory in manufacturing, institutional distribution and retail environments are studied. Questions on what and how much to stock are addressed through an examination of current and evolving technologies of inventory management.
The course offers a classroom-based, instructor led educational opportunity for people new t inventory management or those with experience to gain additional insight and expand their knowledge base. Participants gain practical, essential skills that lead to greater effectiveness and productivity in the workplace.
The course culminates in interactive case studies helping to solve problems regarding inventory issues at the students' place of business.
