Essential Skills for Today's Jobs

A Discussion on Professionalism and Skills needed to begin or advance your career.

The San Fernando Valley Chapter of APICS is proud to announce a new "Skills Gap 2018" Panel discussion. Our panel will field questions regarding the current career landscape and future of professionals in procurement, supply chain, production, manufacturing, and related industries. Where is your current career trajectory going to land you in five or ten years from now? Do you have the training, talents, and skills necessary to guide you through the job market or in your current company?

What should be in your skills tool bag that would make you a valuable, promotable employee; or what stands out on your resume that says "Hire ME!"?

Bring your questions for our panelists and presenter.

We have invited Systems & Operations Management students from CSUN to attend this event. Many are close to graduation. If you are interested in meeting some promising future Operations & Supply Chain professionals for either jobs or internships, this is your chance! You won't be disappointed. This opportunity is for the inexperienced and the experienced alike; you’re never too old or too young to be a better you.

Presenters and Panelists:
