SFV Principles of Procurement

This 10-week program provides the concrete, practical information you need to thrive in today’s procurement work environment. You will learn about the fundamentals of procurement, sourcing strategies and supply chain performance measurements. Course materials emphasize essential vocabulary, application of principles and concepts, strategic and tactical methods of implementation, and understanding the roles of interdepartmental relationships.

The course offers an exciting classroom-based, instructor-led educational opportunity for people new to supply chain or for those with experience who want to gain additional insight and expand their skills. Participants gain practical, essential skills that help them become more effective and productive in their jobs.

Sourcing Strategies
PO Management & Performance Measurement

Who should attend: Buyers, Procurement Agents, Buyers/Planners and anyone else with responsibility for the procurement of materials and services. You will learn about the fundamentals of procurement, how MRP creates demand for purchased items, sourcing strategies, practical electronic tools every buyer can use, and supply chain performance measurements.
