Professional Development Meeting: ”The Joy of Kanban

 Presented by: Steve Cimorelli, CFPIM

Come to this month's Professional Development Meeting to re-introduce an essential Lean tool: the Kanban,

This presentation will be a bit different from our usual dinner meeting. Instead of a straight-forward slide presentation, Steve Cimorelli will be conducting fun, hands-on exercises with you as the participants. Attendees will enjoy a learning experience and understand how best to define Kanbans for a variety of different types of parts. No previous knowledge of Kanbans is required.

Each attendee will learn the following about Kanban:

  • What is it?
  • What's it telling me/them?
  • What information must/should it convey? Physical or virtual?
  • Where do I apply it? Is it only for the shop floor? What about the warehouse?
  • What type of material can use Kanbans? Raw material or operating supplies? Finished Goods?

Come to this dinner meeting to learn more about Kanbans and how they can help your organization be more efficient! APICS-SFV is  committed to educating working professionals in all aspects of Lean Enterprise.
