Professional Development Meeting

"Mickey Mouse, Band Aids, and Other Time Wasters"

As continuous improvement efforts continue searching for “home runs”, we often forget to pay attention to the small things that result in constant interruptions and inefficient use of our time.  Things like not having the correct tools to do our job, not fixing problems when they are small, and not focusing on “small potatoes improvements” result in many wasted opportunities.  During this presentation we will discuss the importance of constantly looking for “low hanging fruit in hidden places”, while ensuring that we create an environment  where people feel empowered to improve their working conditions.
